Filler material

Honeycomb in various sizes is also very suitable as a buffer or filling material. It is already being used today as height levelling panels and acoustic insulation as well as spacer pads, roll holders or as inserts for pallet cages. We can also produce self-adhesive versions on customer request.
An outstanding feature of Honeycomb is its high energy absorption, which helps to protect sensitive products during transport or storage. It is also a cost-effective solution as no special tools are required for its application, making it much easier to use.
- Useable in cold zones down to -25°C
- Also available as self-adhesive product
- Fully recyclable through 100% paper & water soluble glue

Further details and advantages of honeycomb filling material

Efficient packaging with Cookie Cut
The cookie-cut process has proven itself for smaller elements, as it enables efficient and space-saving processing. From a material height of 25 mm, the blanks are only partially cut so that they remain connected to each other by fine webs.
The major advantage of this is that the parts can be stacked in an orderly fashion and optimally arranged on pallets, which reduces storage and transport costs. At the customer’s premises, they can then be separated from each other simply by folding – quickly, cleanly and without tools.
This technology offers considerable advantages, particularly in automated production processes or with high throughput, as it simplifies handling and makes logistics more efficient.

Filling material with self-adhesive function – quick and flexible to use
On request, we can also produce cut-to-size paper honeycomb panels with a practical self-adhesive function. All you have to do is peel off the backing paper – and the elements can be fixed quickly, easily and securely in the desired position.
Whether as a spacer, intermediate layer, upholstery element or for many other applications: The self-adhesive version saves valuable time, makes installation easier and ensures clean, reliable fastening – without any additional aids.
Examples of filling material applications

Filling material made of paper honeycomb panels is used as a shock-absorbing intermediate layer and reliably protects sensitive surfaces from damage.
Further application examples
- Product protection and cushioning when transporting sensitive goods
- Interlayers and dividers in packaging units or pallets
- Spacers for fixation or stabilisation
- Filling gaps
